Venues in the Shropshire Hills

The Shropshire Hills boast a variety of venues that are ideal for hosting events, large or small.

Ludlow’s Castle dominates the town and its extensive walled lawns are the venue for many of the area’s most celebrated events, not least its Food and Drink Festivals. It’s also a popular venue for atmospheric weddings.

Other popular venues include Stokesay Court – location for many scenes in the film, Atonement – and Westhope College, with its attractive gardens.

There are lots of other locations in the area that can host anything from a wedding to a business presentation, ranging from a brewery to well known attractions, such as the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
