We hope you’re all having a successful Summer. It’s a busy time of year for many of us so we’re keeping this newsletter quite brief, but we have a few important things to tell you about:

Can you help us tell Shropshire’s Story?

Shropshire Council are conducting research into what visitors enjoy about visiting Shropshire. Whatever your business may be, please try and encourage visitors to the area to complete this survey. But we don’t have much time, as the survey closes on Monday 1st August.

Here are some ways in which you could encourage visitors to complete the survey:

Include the survey link on emails, booking confirmations etc…
Share the link on Facebook
Share the link in Instagram and Facebook stories – or keep a look out for the stories on the Visit Shropshire Hills Instagram and reshare those.

Visit Shropshire Hills Social Media Update

In the last newsletter we told you that Karen Thorne has taken over the running of our social media accounts. We’ve had some great feedback from members who’ve noticed that there has been a lot more activity lately. We’re pleased to say that our audience and their engagement on both Facebook and Instagram are growing rapidly.

BUT….WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Please let us know if you have any ideas for content on our social platforms, and if you have any great stories, events, videos or images that you’d be happy to share please get in touch – info@visitshropshirehills.co.uk.

We will of course acknowledge anyone who provides content, although we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to share everything we receive.

Join the Visit Shropshire Hills Members’ Facebook Group

We’re conscious that these newsletters are very one-directional, so we’ve set up a private Facebook group for members. This will allow us to share ideas, advice and news as well as providing a space to add photos and articles for sharing with our social media audience.
