Idyllically located in a lovely hamlet in the heart of South Shropshire’s glorious, rolling countryside, Orchard Cottage is the perfect holiday retreat.
The Visit Britain 4* graded cottage is comfortable and tastefully furnished, and offers privacy, a homely environment and beautiful secluded gardens. There are lovely walks right from the cottage door and a wide variety of pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area offering excellent food and friendly hospitality.
There are 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin-bedded), homely lounge with log burner, fully equipped kitchen/dining room and a bathroom, plus a patio which overlooks the delightful private gardens. There is private and safe parking for up to two cars. Assistance dogs are always welcome, but we do not accept pets.
All linen and towels are supplied and electricity, plus wood for the log burner, is included in the price.
To the north, Church Stretton and the beautiful mountains of the Long Mynd are just 10 minutes by car, and a trip to Shrewsbury is just 30 minutes. The historic and lovely market town of Ludlow is just 15 minutes away to the south. Indeed, all of Shropshire’s tourist attractions and places of interest are within easy reach.
Whatever the season, you will find Orchard Cottage to be an ideal holiday base from which to explore and enjoy Shropshire.

First floor: one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, bathroom with bath and overbath shower, washbasin and wc.

From junction A5/A49 (S) take exit South towards Leominster. Continue through Church Stretton and on towards Craven Arms. Before reaching Craven Arms, and just after The Travellers Rest, take the turning on your left signposted Strefford. Orchard Cottage is situated along this road.
