You can relax and unwind in the characteristic oak beamed sitting room by an inglenook fire. Enjoy a banquet in the rustic dining room with its large bespoke oak table and french doors leading out to the patio and gardens.
There is plenty of fun for the kids (and big kids) too. The games room includes a pool table, flat screen TV, sound system and board games, and the garage is perfect for some friendly competition with its table tennis and darts board.

Llanhedric House Accommodation
Llanhedric House is elegantly decorated in keeping with its period.  Inside of this magnificent 17th century house is a feeling a space and enormity, yet it manages to maintain a homely and cosy ambience. There’s plenty of social areas for you all to enjoy time together, yet room for grownups to enjoy time alone and kids to have the best ever game of ‘hide and seek’.
The Kitchen
Often the hub of the house, this room has a large kitchen table and comfy sofa which provide a perfect sociable area for guests to mull around sampling the fresh local produce that’s been left in the welcome hamper …and, best of all, the cook never needs to feel left out!!
The kitchen is a large, modern fully equipped kitchen. It includes a Range cooker perfect for your Sunday roast or boiling water for the tea using the Le Creuset Stove top kettle.  Theres also a built in double cooker, grill, 4 pan hob and microwave for your use.
There’s plenty of room for all your food and drink with 2 large fridge freezers and an under counter fridge for you to use. And a dishwasher to save the arguments!!
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware…including Champagne flutes, for those special occasions!! There’s cafeterias, large teapots and plenty of dishes and saucepans for whatever’s on the menu.
The Lounge
Relax together in this warm, comfy lounge room. There are three sofas and an armchair, as well as beanbags and pouffes for the kids so plenty of space to sit around and chat or watch your favourite TV programme or movie on the large flat screen TV and DVD player.
If you’re feeling competitive why not enjoy a game of Trivial Pursuits or Monopoly, there are lots of board games to choose from!!
The lounge has oak beams and an inglenook fireplace and a wood burner fire that you can stoke up on a chilly evening.
The Dining Room
The dining room provides a perfect place to all sit together and enjoy some home cooked food. It has wooden flooring and oak beams and wood burner fire tucked into a stone and wooden alcove. The patio doors lead from the dining room into the garden and to the outside garden table and chairs….perfect for dining alfresco!
Inside there is a hand crafted bench and bespoke oak table, large enough for everyone to dine together.
The Snug
Nestled away at the top of the House is cosy snug with armchairs, a coffee table and reading library. Hid away with a good novel and a glass of wine or find yourself a chess partner to wile away the hours.
The Bedrooms
There are 7 charming bedrooms suitable for double or triple occupancy. The rooms consist of an En-suite King Bedroom, two Twin Bedrooms, a Double and Single Bedroom and a King Bedroom on the first floor, a Double Attic Bedroom and a downstairs Double Bedroom with adjoining bathroom.
The downstairs bedroom is accessible without steps and is next to a toilet and bathroom and is suitable for anyone with restricted mobility.
Our comfortable beds have warm duvets and quality bedding is provided.
Bathrooms
There is a large main bathroom with a large power shower, bath, wash basin and wc, an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and wc and a down stairs bathroom with a shower, wash basin and wc. There are also wash basins in two of the bedrooms.
The Extras
All guest receive a complementary local produce welcome hamper, with fresh coffee and cake on arrival

From Ludlow
Turn off the A49 at Craven Arms (by the Craven Arms Hotel) taking the B4368 towards Clun. Go through Clun heading towards Bishops Castle. After a quarter of a mile outside Clun take the 1st left turn signed for Bicton
In Bicton take the 2nd left for Mainstone (the turn opposite the big stone farmhouse!). Continue for about a mile until you reach Llanhedric House.
From Bishop’s Castle
Carry on the A488 towards Clun for approximately 4 miles until you see a right hand turn for Bicton by a cottage on the side of the road.
In Bicton take the first right towards Mainstone (opposite the stone farm house!). Continue for about a mile until you reach Llanhedric House.
If using satellite navagation the postcode is SY7 8NG
Llanhedric House is on the left hand side of the road, at the top of the hill overlooking the Clun valley, and as you climb the bank you’ll soon spot the beautiful stone house and large gardens.
There is plenty of private car parking space next to the house.
