The Shropshire Hills Tourism Cooperation Project aims to encourage cooperation between tourism businesses and encourage sustainability in the industry.

Funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, the project is overseen by Shropshire Council, on behalf of the Shropshire Hills Destination Management Partnership.

It is run by Gravity Consulting Ltd, which is engaged with up to 60 tourism businesses in the Shropshire Hills and the surrounding market towns to promote them and the area to new visitors.

The products are themed around various types of visitor experience, such as food and drink trails, outdoor experiences or arts and craft activities. Each “package” has sustainability at its heart, promoting local businesses, products and services in innovative ways.

These products have been developed as part of the Shropshire Hills Tourism Cooperation Project, funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under the auspices of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The project is delivered by Gravity Consulting Ltd on behalf of Shropshire Hills and Ludlow Destination Management Partnership.
