Are you a great photographer? We are running a photographic competition open to the public and tourism operators.  Due to an admin error the closing date for entries is now 30 September 2016, giving time for you to get out with your camera.

There are three categories, and one overall winner.

The categories are:

  • Wild Shropshire/Landscapes
  • Great days out including Festivals and activities
  • Quirky – strange finds and unique experiences

There will be one winner in each category with one designated overall winner.

The closing date is 18.00 30 September 2016

Prizes which have been generously donated by members  include:

A  weekend break for 2 people at The White Horse Inn, Clun; and a 4 night midweek break for two self-catering at Lower Farm Holidays, Shelve, a 2 nights glamping break with  Greenway Touring and Glamping or a one night midweek stay for two at Castle View B&B opposite Stokesay Castle

Afternoon tea for two at The Castle Hotel, Bishops Castle; Sunday lunch at The Crown, Munslow; A Kerry Vale Vineyard tour and tasting, Pack of Hobson’s lovely beer.

£50 voucher to spend at Ludlow Food Centre, £40 voucher to spend on Ralph Jandrell Pottery, a day on bikes with Wheely Wonderful Cycling and signed first edition of Marie Kreft’s “Slow travel in Shropshire” book.

There will be a £20 cash prize for the best photograph taken by someone under 18 across the three categories.
