We do our best to keep the information up to date. The website is funded by the membership of Visit Shropshire Hills Community Interest Company. The members run tourism businesses in the area and look forward to welcoming you to the area.

CONTACT US to ask for information about the area.  We answer your individual enquiry.  We usually give you all the contact details you need to answer your query. Occasionally, we may pass your email onto the person that can provide the most effective information to you.

We keep your email correspondence until your enquiry is complete, after that it is deleted.  

GOOGLE ANALYTICS is set up to provide data from our website.  Data collected is generalised so that we have marketing information about how our website is being used.  No specific customer data is collected.

 On our website, we have the following Member areas where we collect information

 NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION  In subscribing to the Newsletter, you receive updates on local tourism news and events.  You are given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every newsletter. Newsletters are sent out using Mailchimp systems, to ensure that the unsubscribe system works effectively

MEMBER ENTRIES are added/renewed to the website, when the annual membership fee is paid. All text and photos are supplied by members

MEMBER SUBSCRIPTIONS and other fees are handled by our Membership Secretary and Treasurer. None of these details are kept on our website and are not shared with any other organisation/business.

SHARING DATA We may occasionally share publically available data from our members eg phone/email/websites to visitors who are making an enquiry. Or share with local organisations we are working with us to provide a service to our members e.g. tourism workshops. However, most of the time we will communicate with members by email or via newsletters. Membership details are never shared.
