A Look Back at Our 2024 Leaflet Swap

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Leaflet Swap at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre on Wednesday March 20th.

In case you missed it:

  • We were treated to an inspirational talk from business coach Johnny Themans of Good2Great – it’s worth checking out his Friday Hub, a fantastic resource for small businesses across Shropshire.
  • Nigel McDonald (Sustainable Tourism Officer for the Shropshire Hills National Landscape) gave an update on the county destination plan, Local Visitor Economy Partnership, EUROPARC, new county projects and this year’s Shuttle Bus Service over the Long Mynd.
  • Daphne Du Cros from the Shropshire Good Food Partnershiptalked about this year’s Good Food Trail and Love Nature Festival, linking Shropshire’s incredible food to the food producers who grow food that benefits wildlife, nature and the climate.
But of course the star of the show (no disrespect to the excellent presenters and stallholders) was the beautiful owl from the Battlefield Bird of Prey Centre.

Plans are already underway for next year’s Leaflet Swap, so keep checking these newsletters for more information.
