I’m in love with glass!
It is a seductive medium, from the way it plays with light through reflection, refraction and transmission to its ability to offer a myriad of surface finishes. And the colours? Well, I could wax lyrical …….
My evolving portfolio of glass aims to be visually stunning, typically in bold colours, distinctive designs & complex patterns. Each piece is individually created by me, from design inception to the selection of colours, hand cutting the glass and firing, usually repeatedly and with multiple layers to create the finished work you see.
Please enjoy browsing my gallery of both past and present work.
Find out where to see to take a closer look – touch & feel my glass at events, exhibitions and galleries. And for something quite unique and individual to you, here is why and how to have glass made to order.
I’d be delighted to welcome you to my small studio & gallery, in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, either at an Open Studio event or at almost any time by appointment; to ensure I’m ‘in’. Just contact me and I’ll have the kettle on!
And if you would like to try glass fusing for yourself, check out fusing workshops for beginners or intermediates and from short ‘Tasters’ to full days and longer.
Unleash your inner creative, try something new and, above all, enjoy yourself!
Cutting & Fusing with glass is not nearly as scary as it sounds, come and try it out for yourself.
We regularly run workshops at our well equipped, cosy studio in Shropshire and supply absolutely everything you need (equipment & materials – and lunch if you stay all day) to make your own beautiful fused glass; just bring yourself (in comfy shoes). Class sizes are small and depend on the workshop, usually 3 or 4. However we can take 5 for a group of friends. Courses can be flexibly adapted so if you and a mate or two are at a loose end and fancy some creative time together, just contact me! I can often arrange a workshop at really short notice. Normally I need 3 minimum for a half day and 2 minimum for a full day.
