Glass Art and functional designs:
Hi,
At Fusing Ideas Glass, I create stunning, contemporary glass, predominantly using glass fusing techniques. My contemporary range includes unique functional glass for the home, 2D & 3D glass art and hand finished jewellery.
Unique, hand made, gifts for yourself or others, or to enhance your home or workspace.
You are welcome to visit the studio. However, you will need to let me know first (by appointment) as I probably need to tidy up before hand! We are on the edge of the beautiful Shropshire Hills AONB between Shrewsbury and Montgomery.
Glass Fusing Workshops:
I run relaxing, creative workshops for complete beginners and improvers. My regular workshops are usually on Saturday and everything is included, tea/coffees too!
I can’t run workshops from the studio, however, my local Village Hall is my ‘go to’ fabulous venue with all facilities we will need.
During the school holidays I run short and safe “Make a Glass picture Tile” sessions especially for youngsters – no sharp glass – play and make! Also at the Village Hall.
Plenty of room for Kids and accompanying adults – and for adults wanting to take a break to ‘play and create’ too.
Or, if you are visiting our beautiful countryside in a group, I can often arrange midweek, bespoke, workshops for you at a local venue – just ask.
All materials, equipment & kiln firings included. Tea/coffee provided.
Customer review: “… fabulous workshop. Lots of inspiration and support from Jill to try out my ideas.”
And, if you’re interested in unique, quality, craftwork, then you can find me in the company of some outstanding makers at The Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft’s events. Pop along to one of our 3 fabulous shows; May and October in historic Much Wenlock and for Christmas, “Gorgeous” in November at Enginuity, Coalbrookdale in the glorious Ironbridge Gorge.
