The Mount Guest House is perhaps unique in that it enjoys excellent views of the Shropshire countryside and yet is situated close to Ludlow town centre, so most of the popular restaurants, traditional pubs, the specialists shops, Ludlow Castle, the renowned  Church of St Laurence, and Ludlow Brewery are within easy walking distance.

All bedrooms are en-suite with each room having a Freeview TV with dvd player, free wi-fi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests may also relax in our top floor lounge which offer superb scenic views.

Naturally, local produce is used where possible in our award winning breakfasts which includes full English and vegetarian options and we provide a variety of cereals, fruit juices and fruit salad.

Off-road parking is available, and we are conveniently placed for guests arriving by train as we are only a few minutes walk from Ludlow railway station – but we can arrange lifts if required.

Ludlow is a designated ‘Walkers are Welcome’ town, so we offer additional facilities for guests who wish to walk in the beautiful countryside around Ludlow. Information regarding these walks is kept on our guests’ lounge. And although we hope you experience favourable weather when you are out walking, if the elements are not too kind we shall be happy to wash and dry your walking clothes (at a nominal charge).
