Victoria House is the perfect base to explore this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Situated on the High Street with its back garden overlooking the 11th Century church, this charming Victorian townhouse is central to local shops and eating places yet within easy walking distance of the Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley and the Stretton Hills.
Using antique furniture, original artwork and luxury soft furnishings, the interiors have been individually styled and tastefully decorated to a high standard to create guest rooms with character. With six spacious guest rooms to choose from – five with en-suites, one with a private bathroom and dressing room – there is a room to suit every taste.
There is no on-site car parking on the property however parking is readily available in the Easthope Road car park which is situated directly across the road from Victoria House. Delicious breakfasts are home-cooked using local produce wherever possible. We support fairtrade products and use eco-friendly washing and cleaning agents as well as having a strict recycling policy. Wi-Fi is free throughout the house.
Sole occupancy of a double or twin room is available at £20 less than the rate for two people sharing.
Victoria House has been awarded a 4-Star rating and a special Gold award by VisitBritain for the high standard of its accommodation. It also holds a Silver Award from Green Tourism.
