Mr and Mrs Jones offer you a warm welcome at Acton Scott Farm, which is a lovely 15th century farmhouse on a working mixed farm, nestling in the peaceful village of Acton Scott, enjoying all the benefits of being in the lovely quiet countryside of the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farmhouse is full of character and all the rooms have heating and are comfortable and spacious.

We are centrally situated for visiting the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge  also Shrewsbury and Ludlow, each easily reached within half-an-hour. Next door is the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, which is open to the public. Stokesay Castle the finest and best preserved 13th century fortified manor house in England is near, as is the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and the Land of Lost Content (Nostalgia Museum). This is beautiful countryside for walking and we have leaflets available for walks from the farm. The South Shropshire Hills provide many walking opportunities with stunning views and the Cardingmill Valley at nearby Church Stretton is very attractive, with a National Trust Shop and tearoom.

The accommodation consists of two double bedrooms and one twin/family room; however, we have a max. capacity of 6 persons at any one time.  All rooms are either ensuite or have a private bathroom.  Each room also has tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer,  and colour television.  Children are welcome. There is a lounge with an inglenook fireplace with a log fire in chilly weather and colour television.

In the flag stoned dining room for guests, a freshly cooked full English breakfast or lighter meal may be enjoyed. We are a non-smoking establishment. Information is available for evening meals, which can be obtained at several establishments within two or three miles.
