There’s so much to do on a holiday with family or friends in the Shropshire Hills. Whether it’s breathing in the fresh air and wide horizons on a walk in the hills, sharing a picnic by the lazy waters of a beautiful river or getting an adrenaline fix in one of the area’s many adventure centres, you’ll be making memories that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life.

There are many things about the Shropshire Hills that make the area a very special one in which to share time with the people you are close to. Who could fail to be wooed by its pretty villages, cosy pubs and welcoming tea rooms? Who could find a better place to explore new activities with friends – surprisingly accessible from England’s big cities and yet, in many ways, a world apart?

It’s a place to come to remind yourself of your own family holidays when you were young, and in which to learn new things with your own children or with your friends.

Nestled in the Hills of Shropshire are discoveries just waiting to be made – among its wildlife, its very special landscape, its people or its picturesque towns and villages. Whether you’re visiting an adventure centre or meeting pygmy goats, the area really does have something for everyone.
