  • Three holiday cottages just three miles from historic Ludlow in Shropshire.  Luxury self catering accommodation, surrounded by unspoilt countryside, ideal for walking holidays.  All cottages have wireless internet access. Visit historic Ludlow, famous for its gourmet food and its history as capital of the Marches.  Ludlow is the first town in the UK to be awarded ‘Cittaslow’ status for its quality of  life.

The Old Bull Pen Five Star. Gold Award wifi internet access.  Sleeps 6

Luxury accommodation which is all on one level. As the name suggests, back when Ashford Farm had a dairy herd, this is where the bull lived.  However we very much hope that Percy, our last bull resident, would no longer recognise his home!

Approached by a gravel driveway, the Old Bull Pen has a sun-trap courtyard with a large patio and shrub beds on the south side. A second patio and lawn at the rear, which catches the evening sun, overlooks the stream, pond and dingle. The three large bedrooms, (two double and a twin) are all en suite with T.V. The master bedroom has a king-size bed & superior en suite featuring a spa bath. The large lounge has a woodburning stove and external french doors to the front and rear. Internal french doors lead to the kitchen/diner with a separate utility leading to the rear patio. Off the hall is a guest cloakroom.

Threshers ‘The Conservatory Cottage’ Four Star Gold Award , wifi internet access. Sleeps 5

This lovely cottage,  with conservatory and wifi internet access, is set in a conservation area at the centre of the picturesque cul-de-sac village of Ashford Carbonell.  Built in 1997 to a traditional design, the cottage has its own individual front driveway and secure rear garden with patio and barbecue.

There are many interesting footpaths leading from Ashford Farm, e.g. the Tinkers Hill walk or the two hour circular loop through Middleton.  For the less enthusiastic walker, Teme’s Green (River Teme ‘beach’) is only 500yds away!

Well Meadow Four Star, Gold Award wifi internet access.   Sleeps 4

Converted from an old granary in 2005, the cottage is situated approximately 250yds behind the owner’s farmhouse and is surrounded by 65 acres of pasture land.  It enjoys total tranquility and has a splendid view of Clee Hill to the rear.  A large patio follows two sides of the cottage.  There is a stream adjacent to the one side of the large shrubbed and lawned garden.  The garden is fully fenced and secure ( children and dogs cannot access the stream ).
